Broncos Odds to win the 2015 AFC Conference: 11/5
Broncos Season Win Total: 13 wins

Here’s a look at the Denver Broncos’ schedule for the upcoming season.

Week 1: Sun, Sept. 7 vs. Colts – The Sunday nighter will see Peyton Manning pitted against his old club once again, this time in his backyard. Don’t be surprised to see some points up on the board before this one is over. Manning will be looking for his first win against his old club after dropping a 39-33 decision a year ago.

Week 2: Sun, Sept. 14 vs. Chiefs – It was a while before these teams saw one another last season. The Chiefs took a big step backward in the latter half of last season, so they’ll be looking to show they’re for real in this one, and the Broncos will have the dreaded lookahead factor to deal with.

Week 3: Sun, Sept. 21 at Seahawks – A game that many will have circled on their calendars long before the season even starts. The Broncos surely feel like they let the Seahawks off the hook with the way the Super Bowl went down a year ago. Peyton Manning and his famous changes at the line could take a hit in front of a raucous Seattle crowd. This game will be the Broncos’ third in a row against a 2013 playoff team in advance of an early bye week. Interestingly enough, the game will not be in prime time.

Week 4: BYE

Week 5: Sun, Oct. 5 vs. Cardinals – After playing three 2013 playoff teams to open the year and drawing a tough Jets 3-4 defense in Week 6, this home date against the Cardinals could prove to be a dangerous look ahead spot for the Broncos. The Cardinals won 10 games a year ago.

Week 6: Sun, Oct. 12 at Jets – 3-4 defenses haven’t been kind to Peyton Manning in the past, though the Jets are a shell of their former selves.

Week 7: Sun, Oct. 19 vs. 49ers – Another game in prime time for the Broncos as they take on the other NFC West powerhouse. The 49ers’ 3-4 defense could cause some problems for Peyton Manning and the Bronco offense.

Week 8: Thurs, Oct. 23 vs. Chargers – The Chargers have routinely given the Broncos trouble during the Manning era. They just have things figured out in this matchup, and this could be a letdown game for the Broncos who will be coming off a tough game against a great 49ers time and may look ahead to a date with the Patriots at Foxborough.

Week 9: Sun, Nov. 2 at Patriots – The Broncos’ sixth game against a 2013 playoff team in their first eight comes against old foe Tom Brady and the Patriots. The two really went to battle in the offseason, engaging in a 49ers-Seahawks-esque battle which has both teams loaded from top to bottom and ready to do battle for the AFC crown. This game will mark the 16th meeting between Brady and Manning.

Week 10: Sun, Nov. 9 at Raiders – The second of three consecutive road games should be the easiest of the bunch. Expect a double-digit spread for this contest.

Week 11: Sun, Nov. 16 at Rams – The difficulties that come with playing a third consecutive road game are quelled by putting Peyton under the roof of the Edward Jones Dome. The tough Rams defensive front could cause problems.

Week 12: Sun, Nov. 23 vs. Dolphins – The Dolphins seem to have been a wild card entering each of the past few seasons, and this season will be no different.

Week 13: Sun, Nov. 30 at Chiefs – Playing a fifth consecutive game with travel is tough. Playing a fifth consecutive game with travel and visiting the second-loudest stadium in football is tougher.

Week 14: Sun, Dec. 7 vs. Bills – The Bills are a young and improving bunch. They have some weapons on offense and Peyton could have to put some work in to get this one sealed up.

Week 15: Sun, Dec. 14 at Chargers – Playing at San Diego will be a tough contest, and the next week’s game at Cincinnati will likely have more meaning.

Week 16: Mon, Dec. 22 at Bengals – A second consecutive road game for the Broncos, and it comes in a tough place to play. The Bengals will likely need this game more than the Broncos.

Week 17: Sun, Dec. 28 vs. Raiders – There might not be a lot to play for by this contest, and the Raiders could sneak a win away if they haven’t already given up by then.
