Sunday, Sept. 7 @ Pittsburgh –

I can’t imagine a worse place to begin a season with so many questions yet unanswered. It is kind of unfair to to Brian Hoyer that he is getting thrown into this situation because it will be tough to succeed.

Sunday, Sept. 14 vs. New Orleans –

This is their first home game but it won’t get any easier with the Saints coming to town. Those cornerbacks who I really like will be tested against one of the best quarterbacks in the league. No way Hoyer keeps up.

Sunday, Sept. 21 vs. Baltimore –

Ray Rice will be back in the fold for this one and that is not great news for Cleveland. After an 0-2 start the will start to feel desperate but we won’t be seeing Johnny Football just yet.

BYE WEEK

Sunday, Oct. 5 @ Tennessee –

There will be temptation to drop in Johnny Manziel in this one but I think they are going to want to have his first start be at in front of the Dawg Pound. As a result it will be a few more weeks and likely another loss.

Sunday, Oct. 12 vs. Pittsburgh –

This loss will be the straw that breaks the back so to speak in terms of Hoyer vs. Manziel. Playing in Pittsburgh shorthanded is tough for any body but for Hoyer this will be the last time he starts a game for a while.

Sunday, Oct. 19 @ Jacksonville –

Johnny Football finally get revealed to the world with a chances to workout the kinks before his first home date next week. He is probably going to look like an amateur next to fellow first rounder Blake Bortles in yet another loss.

Sunday, Oct. 26 vs. Oakland –

With all due respect to Oakland this one if tailor made for the Browns and Manziel to get their first victory of the season. I envision him doing more with his legs than his arm but a victory is a victory.

Sunday, Nov. 2 vs. Tampa Bay –

The magic of Manziel continues with back to back home victories. Sure looking at the stats will show they are not exactly winning because of him but it won’t make a difference. The legend continues to grow.

Thursday, Nov. 6 @ Cincinnati –

For me Cincinnati is the class of the division and they will show us why in this one. If you are a top defense there is nothing you love more than to shut down a player who is getting just a little too much hype.

Sunday, Nov. 16 vs. Houston –

Houston is a bad matchup for the Browns because they are so strong on the pass rush. If you thought the Bengals were into slowing the Manzile hype machine just wait til you see J.J. Watt do his part. Another loss as it looks like the Browns are going to be at the top of next year’s draft.

Sunday, Nov. 23 @ Atlanta –

I am not hot on the Falcons this season but by this point I think they will be a better than average team. The same cannot be said of the Bengals who will continue to struggle and play tight games. This will be another loss.

Sunday, Nov. 30 @ Buffalo –

It seems like there are lots of young QB to measure Manziel against including Bills second year pivot E.J. Manuel. This game will prove the point that the weapons around the player are just as important…in another loss.

Sunday, Dec. 7 vs. Indianapolis –

Speaking of those great comps among the young QB out there. Andrew Luck is the worst one, he is already polished and a winner, two qualities I fear Manziel will never display. Another loss for the Browns in this one.

Sunday, Dec. 14 vs. Cincinnati –

If they are going to get another win this season this is the spot but with Cincy in a dogfight to make the playoffs they won’t be able to take them lightly. The Browns will fight in their final home game of the season.

CappersPicks.com has NFL odds up on a ton of futures, and you will also find NFL lines up for early games as well.

Sunday, Dec. 21 @ Carolina –

This will be one of the more embarrassing games of the season. With nothing to play for and on the road the team completely unravels. Cam Newton helps but mostly this is a big letdown of a performance.

Sunday, Dec. 28 @ Baltimore –

This finale on the road is not likely a critical game for either side but if it is it could be another ugly one for the Browns. Baltimore has a habit of beating up on Cleveland and if they are in the playoff hunt and need the win they will cream them.
