Dave B’s NFL Power Rankings – Week 11

NFL Power Rankings – Where Every Team Sits After Week 10

Week 10 – one of the craziest weeks of the season has come to a merciful end. Jacksonville and Tampa each won their first game of the season, while Carolina won it’s fifth in a row and just five teams have recorded six or more wins in the NFC – unreal!

Two of the top 5 teams from last week have tumbled downward while some familiar teams re-enter the Fab-five.

Let`s take a look at where every teams stands in this week`s edition of Dave B`s Power Rankings

1. CHIEFS (Last Week: 1)

Had the bye this week and is still, obviously the only unbeaten team in the NFL. Their defense is unquestioned but their offense will be tested this week in a game that they are going to have to score to keep up.

Denver awaits in Week 10 – should be interesting, then San Diego, then the Broncos again.

2. BRONCOS (Last Week: 2)

The Manning injury could be enormous for this team but there is no doubting the potency of this team playing in a hostile environment and winning at San Diego in Week 10. All Peyton did was throw for 330 more yards and 4 scores. As long as the Denver Mannings have Peyton out on the field they are the top 3!

3. SEAHAWKS (Last Week: 4)

Put a whoopin on the Falcons Sunday and are now 5-1 on the road! Marshawn Lynch was a beast in Week 10 and Week 11 could mark the return of Percy Harvin. Seattle is the most complete team in the NFL right now and the top team in the NFC – hands down.

4. SAINTS (Last Week: 7)

Beat the Cowboys 49-17 in Week 10 – they passed for 392 yards and rushed for well over 200 yards. Finding a running game is enormous for this team – slowing a HOT Dallas offense is another. Tough to figure this team out though – one night looking like the best team on the planet and another losing to the Jets.

5. PATRIOTS (Last Week: 6)

Scored the most points ever allowed by a Pittsburgh team before their bye – 55 on over 600 yards of total offense! The defense is quietly having another decent year as well making the Pats a dangerous team. I`ve said it before – never-ever count out Brady and Belichek.

6. PANTHERS (Last Week: 12)

The Panthers beat the Niners in San Francisco Sunday and have officially landed in the top 10 with a bullet. Credit the defense – they are giving up just 12.8 points per game and Cam Newton who is providing the leadership this team seems to be responding to. At 6-3 on the season the Panthers look like a threat when the playoffs roll around.

7. LIONS (Last Week: 8)

The Lions jump one spot this week after beating division foe Chicago Sunday. Their passing remains one of the top units in the game – the defense on the other hand will absolutely need to step up to take this team far into the playoffs.

8. COLTS (Last Week: 3)

Ugh! Momma told me there`d be days like this! The Colts laid a monumental egg Sunday against St. Louis – losing 38-8 on home turf! And they have little time to dwell – the Titans await on Thursday night.

9. 49ERS (Last Week’s Ranking: 5)

Not sure what is going on with Colin Kaepernick. Off their bye, he managed just 91 yards passing in a home loss to the Panthers on Sunday. The Niners were expected to step up against a playoff quality team Sunday and fell flat on their faces – there is reason for a little concern in the Bay.

10. BEARS (Last Week: 9)

Jay Cutler hurt his ankle in a loss to the Lions on Sunday to go along with his balky groin. The passing game was OK but Matt Forte had an uncharacteristically poor game. The good news – they won`t have to play the Lions again this year – the bad news is the defense is still leaky and Cutler is still banged up.

11. EAGLES (Last Week: 19)

The Eagles have climbed back into a first place tie in the NFC East and actually look like the favorite to emerge! Nick Foles has gained back his confidence and now has 16 touchdown passes, no interceptions and a 132.5 rating in 2013. Insane!

12. BENGALS (Last Week: 10)

Tenuous Number 12 this week Cincinnati has lost two straight games in OT – but a closer look reveals they were lucky to get to OT in the first place. Andy Dalton has slipped back into his rut – he needs to climb out of hit or the Bengals could be in some trouble.

13. JETS (Last Week: 13)
14. BROWNS (Last Week: 18)
15. PACKERS (Last Week: 11)
16. DOLPHINS (Last Week: 20)
17. CHARGERS (Last Week: 17)
18. COWBOYS (Last Week: 14)
19. RAVENS (Last Week: 21)
20. RAMS (Last Week: 27)
21. CARDINALS (Last Week: 16)
22. TITANS (Last Week: 15)
23. STEELERS (Last Week: 25)
24. BILLS (Last Week: 24)
25. GIANTS (Last Week 26)
26. RAIDERS (Last Week 23)
27. REDSKINS (Last Week: 22)
28. TEXANS (Last Week: 28)
29. VIKINGS (Last Week: 30)
30. FALCONS (Last Week: 29)
31. BUCCANEERS (Last Week: 31)
32. JAGUARS (Last Week: 32)
