2013 Chicago Bears Complete Season Schedule | Handicapping

Bears Schedule – NFL Football

Next up. The Chicago Bears. One of my favorite tools in preparing for the 2013 NFL football season and to enhance your nfl wagering knowledge is to look ahead at each teams NFL schedule, and evaluate the games they will play.

2013 Regular Season Opponents

Sun, Sept. 8 CINCINNATI This is a tougher game than it was in season’s past. The Bengals should be on the verge of breaking out, and the Bears might sadly be moving in the opposite direction.

Sun, Sept. 15 MINNESOTA Two middle-of-the-pack NFC North squads do battle in this second game of the 2013 campaign. Defensive linemen Julius Peppers, Henry Melton et al. will have to be ready to slow down Vikings RB Adrian Peterson.

Sun, Sept. 22 @ Pittsburgh This is a winnable game for the Bears, especially if the offense fulfills its maximum capabilities. The Chi-town defense is still good enough to stifle the Steelers.

Sun, Sept. 29 @ Detroit Time is running out for the Lions to prove themselves before heads will roll in the Motor City; the Bears sincerely hope to expedite that process.

Sun, Oct. 6 NEW ORLEANS Getting the better of Saints pivot Drew Brees is never a picnic. The Bears would do well to deploy a lot of RB Matt Forte on the Saints’ vulnerable defense.

Thurs, Oct. 10 N.Y. GIANTS Chicago starts the 2013 season with a nice cluster of home games; the entire country will be watching the Thursday-nighter in the Windy City. If a strong Bears secondary can duress N.Y. signal-caller Eli Manning into some mistakes, that would go far to please the home crowd.

Sun, Oct. 20 @ Washington Whether or not Redskins QB Robert Griffin III has turned into an offseason sideshow, if he has any decent sort of encore to his rookie season, he should give the Bears fits in late October.

Sun, Oct. 27 BYE

Mon, Nov. 4 @ Green Bay Bratwurst, deep-dish pizza and cheese curds are disappearing in record quantities along the shores of Lake Michigan. [soliloquy id=”82219″]

Sun, Nov. 10 DETROIT The Chicago offensive line is a mess right now, so who’s going to block dirty and feisty Lions DT Ndamukong Suh?

Sun, Nov. 17 BALTIMORE If we haven’t seen already, we’ll get a definitive look at how realistic the Bears’ playoff aspirations are during this match-up with the defending Super Bowl champs.

Sun, Nov. 24 @ St. Louis I think the Rams are building towards something, but they aren’t “The Greatest Show on Turf” just yet. This is a gettable road game for the Bears.

Sun, Dec. 1 @ Minnesota The Vikings are probably a borderline playoff team, and they should probably have a better outlook than Chicago. What does that tell you?

Mon, Dec. 9 DALLAS America’s Team visits one of America’s greatest cities for a chilly winter late-season tilt. Can Chicago’s back seven stifle Cowboys QB Tony Romo?

Sun, Dec. 15 @ Cleveland The Bears have to grab all the potential cookie wins on their schedule if they look to be playing football beyond December.

Sun, Dec. 22 @ Philadelphia See above as it pertains to Cleveland.

Sun, Dec. 29 GREEN BAY There is truly no love lost between these two franchises. With the Packers being a model of recent consistency and the Bears not truly reaping the benefits from Cutler and others, this could be frustrating for Chicago fans. Hey, you can’t feel that bad for them – the Blackhawks just won the Stanley Cup.
