The smell of two-a-days is in the air as NFL training camps are set to open in a couple weeks. Here is a rundown of locations and dates for all the teams in the NFC.

Team                                     Location                                                      Reporting Date(s)

Arizona Cardinals                              Flagstaff, AZ.                                        July 30th (rookies & veterans)

The biggest storyline in Arizona is Matt Leinart’s ability to step in as the starting QB of this team in light of Kurt Warner’s retirement. Along with the loss of WR Anquan Boldin, that is quite a bit of offensive production that needs to be replaced.

Atlanta Falcons                                   Flowery Branch, GA.                          July 29th (rookies & veterans)

To get back to the playoffs, Atlanta will rely heavily on QB Matt Ryan’s and RB Michael Turner’s ability to have another season like they did in 2008 when Ryan threw for almost 3,500 yards and Turner ran for almost 1,700.

Carolina Panthers                               Spartanburg, S.C.                                July 28th (rookies & veterans)

This is shaping up as a rebuilding year for Carolina as there are too many holes in key positions. Do not be surprised if you see QB Jimmy Clausen in the starting lineup at some point this season.

Chicago Bears                                      Bourbonnais, IL.                                  July 30th (rookies & veterans)

Year two with QB Jake Cutler at the helm is bound to be better than his first as new offensive coordinator Mike Martz has been brought in to better utilize his talents as well as help eliminate the bad decisions that plagued him last season.

Dallas Cowboys                                   San Antonio ,TX.                                  July 24th (rookies & veterans)

Expectations are high in Big D as they feel they have the necessary talent to go all the way this year. If QB Tony Romo continues to play at the level he did down the stretch last season, they just might be right.

Detroit Lions                                         Allen Park, MI.                                    July 30th (rookies & veterans)

Detroit continues to stockpile big time players through the draft, but they still need things to come together quickly to have a chance to get out of the NFC North basement this season.

Green Bay Packers                              Green Bay, WI.                                     July 30th (rookies & veterans)

Green Bay needs to find a way to beat Minnesota to avoid settling for a wildcard spot in the playoffs.  This season could be QB Aaron Rodgers turn to shine in weeks seven and eleven against the Vikings and Favre.

Minnesota Vikings                              Mankato, MN.                                        July 30th (rookies & veterans)

Once again the Vikings are dealing with the whole Brett Favre saga as to whether he will return for another season. Given how close they came to getting to the Super Bowl last year, you would have to believe he is chomping at the bit to give it one more shot.

New Orleans Saints                            Metairie, LA.                                          July 29th (rookies & veterans)

Led by veteran QB Drew Brees, this team has enough talent to repeat as Super Bowl champs as long as they can avoid the inevitable hangover that has plagued other past champions.

New York Giants                                 Albany, N.Y.                                             Aug 1st (rookies & veterans)

If New York’s defense gets off to a rocky start and begins to look like the one that faded down stretch last year, Tom Coughlin could be one of the early coaches on the hot seat.

Philadelphia Eagles                           Bethlehem, PA.                                 July 26th (rookies) & July 29th (veterans)

With Donovan McNabb in Washington, the Kevin Kolb era begins in Philadelphia. If he does not get off to a good start, the love affair with his new fans will be short and sweet.

San Francisco 49ers                          Santa Clara, CA.                               July 30th (rookies) & July 31st (veterans)

The 49ers are the odds-on-favorite to win the NFC West for the first time in a long while. How QB Alex Smith responds to the pressure of being in this position will most likely determine whether or not they actually get there.

Seattle Seahawks                               Renton, WA.                                      July 29th (rookies) & July 30th (veterans)

New head coach Pete Carroll is confident he can get this team ready to compete for this year’s NFC West title, but a lot will revolve around QB Matt Hasselbeck’s ability to stay healthy.

St. Louis Rams                                    Earth City, MO.                                    July 28th (rookies) & July 30th (veterans)

Second year head coach Steve Spagnuolo has his franchise quarterback in Sam Bradford, but much like Matthew Stafford in Detroit last season, 2010 will be a steep learning curve for the No.1 pick from Oklahoma.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers                     Tampa, FL.                                                July 30th (rookies & veterans)

Tampa should win more than three games this season, but this massive rebuilding effort is still a couple of seasons away from producing a winner.

Washington Redskins                         Ashburn, V A.                                             July 29th (rookies & veterans)

With the veteran leadership that McNabb brings to this team, things could come together quickly for the Redskins making them a serious factor in the NFC East division race.
