NFL: COMBINE BETTING MAKES HISTORY
The NFL’s biggest prospects report to Indianapolis on Wednesday for the NFL Combine and you can bet on it for the first time in history, courtesy of Sportsbook.com.

Of all the props at the combine, the 40-yard dash is the one that moves players up the draft boards and ends up earning them the most money.
One of the props is the fastest 40-time of the combine and the Over/Under is 4.32 seconds. Last year, UConn cornerback Tyvon Branch and Penn State wide receiver Justin King came in at 4.31 seconds and Boise State cornerback Orlando Scandrick was right at 4.32, so the Under is certainly obtainable here.
One of the best parts of these props is that Sportsbook.com oddsmakers have come up with individual player matchups.
For example, Florida Gators receiver Percy Harvin is a favorite over Missouri standout Jeremy Maclin and Georgia running back Knowshon Moreno is a slight favorite over Ohio State’s Chris ‘Beanie’ Wells.
We’ve always wondered just how fast these superstars are when we see them on Saturdays and now we’ll get to find out for sure.
In the ‘Battle of the Big Guys’, offensive linemen Andre Smith and Duke Robinson are also pitted against each other in the 40- yard battle.
Of course, what we really want to see from offensive lineman is strength, and the Over/Under for the most number of 225 pounds bench presses at the combine is 39.5.
Looking back to last year again, Jake Long of Michigan had 37 reps and that was tops for any o-lineman. It also tied him with Ohio State linebacker Vernon Gholston for the highest total at any position. Both players ended up being Top 10 picks in the draft.

Just when I thought I heard it all you now bet on the NFL combines, what a beautiful world. I have never followed the combines and early mock draft talk too closely in the past, as I usually wait until April to get excited. Betting on a guys time in the 40 adds a whole new dimension to tracking the workouts on the NFL Network.
