Ready for some football, football and more football?
Pigskin is the flavor of the weekend, and besides the opening of the NFL season, football betting fans will be focusing on two big NCAA College Football matchups on Saturday.
The first has the No. 18-ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish (1-0 SU and ATS) taking on the Michigan Wolverines at Michigan Stadium (3:30 pm ET, ABC).

Head Coach Charlie Weis – who some see as sitting in a precarious position as the leader of one of College Football’s most legendary, but recently under-achieving, programs – led his Irish squad to a dominating, season-opening 35-0 shutout of the Nevada Wolf Pack last week.

Pivot Jimmy Clausen threw for four touchdowns as Notre Dame covered the 14-point spread.
The unranked Wolverines, meanwhile, beat Western Michigan 31-7 in Week 1, covering the 14-point spread.
The teams are even straight up over the past 10 head-to-head (5-5 SU) but the Irish have a 7-3 ATS edge over that span.
The other big tilt Saturday features the only Top-25 matchup of Week 2, as the No. 3 USC Trojans battle the No. 8 Ohio State Buckeyes at The Horseshoe (8 pm ET, ESPN).
The Trojans are 7-point favorites and the over/under is 44.5.
SoCal beat up the Buckeyes 35-3 in their last meeting on Sept 13 last season, as 11-point home favorites.
Last week, after San Jose State scored the first three points, USC woke up and put up 56 of their own, ultimately waltzing to a 56-3 win as colossal 35-point faves.
Ohio State wasn’t quite as impressive last Saturday, beating Navy 31-27 thanks to some late-game heroics. The Buckeyes failed to cover as 22-point home favorites.
