Hoosiers vs Buckeyes College Football Lines
The Ohio State Buckeyes will look to bounce back from a disappointing 60-35 victory over the Fighting Illini of Illinois. The Indiana Hoosiers are looking to bounce back as well.

They took a beating last week at the hands of the Wisconsin Badgers and will look to beat the Ohio State Buckeyes to become bowl eligible.
Indiana Hoosiers
Starting off this is a really tough break for the Hoosiers. Indiana had to go into Camp Randall Stadium to play the Wisconsin Badgers. Now, they have to go into Columbus, Ohio to play an angry bunch of Buckeyes on senior day. This could get ugly really fast.

Indiana is a below average team with a horrible defense, but a very explosive offense. Last week versus the Wisconsin Badgers was a bit of a surprise. Not that they lost, or gave up 51 points, but they only scored 3 points. This was an Indiana team that had scored a minimum of 28 points this season.
Halfback Tevin Coleman didn’t play last week versus Wisconsin and is a game time decision versus the Buckeyes. If he plays, I expect the Hoosiers to score a few more points, but not nearly enough to win or even cover. If he doesn’t play, though, it’s pretty much a lock Ohio State covers versus Indiana.
Ohio State Buckeyes
I believe last week versus Illinois was a wake up call for the Ohio State Buckeyes. After going up 28-0 early in the second quarter Ohio State’s offense sputtered most of the way and their defense struggled versus Illinois.

Ohio State took the pedal of the accelerator and while the Buckeyes weren’t in any danger of losing the game, it still didn’t look good for Ohio State letting Illinois linger in the game.
Early in the third quarter Illinois cut the Buckeye lead to 35-21 and late in the 4th quarter Illinois were only down 12 before the Buckeyes then stepped on it once again and put up two quick scores to win the game 60-35.

Urban Meyer won’t allow his team to repeat what they did last week. I expect Ohio State to come out firing on all cylinders and keep up that pace for the majority of the game. The Buckeyes will be at home, this will be the season finale, senior day. Ohio State will want to put on a great show and last week the Wisconsin Badgers put a beating on the Indiana Hoosiers.
If playing at home on senior day wasn’t enough the Buckeyes will have extra motivation to beat the Hoosiers worse than what the Badgers did.
All in all, I’m taking Ohio State in this one. If the spread was somewhere in the 40’s It’d be a tougher pick, but the spread is only 34. Take the Buckeyes with confidence.
Indiana is an explosive team and whether or not Coleman plays is a pretty big factor, but nevertheless, Ohio State’s defense is bad, but expect a much better effort this week.
They have the talent and if they are motivated – which they will be – they’ll hold Indiana for the majority of the game. And, of course, Ohio State’s offense will score points in bunches.

Prediction: Ohio State 63 – Indiana 21
