Alabama received 55 of 60 first place votes, with the other five going to Florida State. Baylor and Ohio State flipped spots, with the Bears now in the No. 3 hole.

Let’s take a look at the top 10 teams and their chances of moving up, or down on Sunday when the next set of rankings are released.

1. Alabama Crimson Tide (10-0, previous: 1)

Alabama remains firmly entrenched in the top spot in the rankings, as they have been all season. The team could have probably done a little more against Mississippi State, but chalk that one up as a road win over a good SEC team. This weekend the Tide draw a cupcake game against Chattanooga.

2. Florida State Seminoles (10-0, previous: 2)

The Florida State Seminoles are flying high right now, with back-to-back 59-3 wins under their belts, the latest coming against Syracuse. The team appears poised to dish out another thumping as they’ll host Idaho on Saturday as 57-point favorites.

3. Baylor Bears (9-0, previous: 4)

Baylor impressed many onlookers with another rout of a good team on Saturday, coming away with a 63-34 win over Texas Tech. The Bears draw the toughest matchup of all the top 10 teams this weekend when they take on the 12th-ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys in Stillwater in the weekend’s marquee matchup. The Bears are installed as 9.5-point favorites in that contest.

4. Ohio State Buckeyes (10-0, previous: 3)

The Buckeyes were able to beat Illinois by a 25-point margin on Saturday, but the team’s soft schedule is obviously starting to get to voters as they dropped a spot in the latest ranking. The team will need to make a statement on Saturday when they host Indiana as 34-point favorites.

5. Oregon Ducks (9-1, previous: 6)

Oregon put a licking on Utah in their last game to get some frustration out from their loss to Stanford. This weekend the Ducks will face one of the few teams that can score at their level when they visit the Arizona Wildcats as 20.5 point favorites.

6. Auburn Tigers (10-1, previous: 7)

Auburn had a little more trouble with Georgia than they would have liked, but the team was able to eke out a win late on a Hail Mary prayer that was answered. They’ll now have a week to prepare for their showdown with Alabama on Nov. 30.

7. Clemson Tigers (9-1, previous: 8)

The Clemson Tigers thumped Georgia Tech on Thursday night in an ACC showdown, and now will get a tune-up game with The Citadel before a key game versus South Carolina on Nov. 30.

8. Missouri Tigers (9-1, previous: 9)

Missouri was off in Week 12 but return in Week 13 for a tough matchup with an Ole Miss team that has won four in a row. The good news for the Tigers is that they’ll get back starting quarterback James Franklin who missed multiple-weeks with a shoulder injury. They’ll need him to hit the ground running as the Tigers are listed as favorites of just 2.5 points in Oxford.

9. Texas A&M Aggies (8-2, previous: 10)

Texas A&M has had a week to recover from what was surely an emotional win over Mississippi  State in what was likely Johnny Manziel’s final game in College Station. The Aggies will be thrown right back into the fire with a game in Death Valley against the LSU Tigers as four-point underdogs.

10. Stanford Cardinal (8-2, previous: 5)

Stanford suffered their second loss of the season at USC in Week 12, but that wasn’t enough to knock the team out of the top 10. They should have no trouble getting back to their winning ways on Saturday when they host 1-10 California as 31.5-point favorites.
