SCSU Bulldogs vs. Clemson Tigers Gambling Prediction & Week 2 Preview

South Carolina State vs Clemson College Football Spread/Handicapping

That’s not a typo, its Bulldogs vs Tigers again from Clemson, this time just with slightly less hype than last week’s monster tilt. The Tigers were very impressive against Georgia last Saturday night and I am sure there are some out there who think they are primed for a fall, especially after what we saw from the FCS squads last week.

I have to admit I may be among those waiting for the other purple and orange shoe to drop but it definitely will not be this week. This is a nice chance to get more players into agame early in the season and not much else. Do you see that number?

SCSU lost to Coastal Carolina last week.

South Carolina State

The FCS may have reigned supreme last week but a lot of those teams that won were among the best that level has to offer. That is not the case here with South Carolina State out of the MEAC.

To give you some idea the last time these two played each other the score was 54-0. Based on the spread they are expecting a repeat of the same. The best the Bulldogs can hope for is maybe an early score that makes the rounds on SportsCenter…and if I am totally wrong than what was the point in winning last week for Clemson? Clemson

I was all over Georgia last week so congrats to Clemson, though I am sure it would have been a different game had RB Todd Gurley been healthy throughout. Nevertheless they won in impressive fashion and should win easily on Saturday.

For those who like their stars don’t expect to see much of QB Tajh Boyd or WR Sammy Watkins. Both were very good in the opener against the Dawgs as was running back Roderick McDowell who seemed to be unleashing the frustration that he must have been feeling as a backup for the past few seasons.

He was probably the most impressive of the bunch, along the with offensive line I suppose, as they demonstrated they might be able to win some games in the trenches if they have to. That kind of attitude could come in handy later in the season when they face other top teams like Florida State and South Carolina.

This is an empty out the bench affair that should see lots of ball caps and visors on the sidelines.

Spread Pick: Clemson -52.5
O/U Pick: N/A
Score Prediction: Clemson 56 – South Carolina State 3
