Arkansas vs LSU College Football Spread/Handicapping
Not a lot of juice for this traditional season ending game for these programs. The lofty hopes of LSU were dashed many weeks ago even though they are looking very good after beating up Texas A&M last week.

In Hogtown they are seimply looking for measures of respectability as they close out a season that really didn’t have much hope.

It kind of feels like there is so little on the line that the Tigers might be cause napping post Thanksgiving and all but they re so much better even that might not be enough for Arkansas to upset.
Arkansas
It has been a long time since Arkansas tasted a victory. They opened the season with three straight then proceeded to lose 8 in a row including all of their conference game thus far. Considering the opponent that is a streak that is unlikely to change. Suffice it to say the Razorbacks have not thrived in the first season of coach Bret Bielema.
The only real part of their game that has had success this season has been the running game which is no surprise given Bielema’s history with Wisconsin.
They are averaging better than 200 yards per game – good for 26th in the nation – but being one dimensional is not a way to beat a team like LSU.

If they can have some success moving the ball in the ground it just might mean that this one won’t get too out of hand too quickly.
LSU
The Tigers might have played their best game of the season last week when they once again put the clamps on Johnny Manziel and the Aggies last week. With a win they can secure the third spot in the SEC West and thus improve their bowl status.
It is funny that they have done such a good job bottling up Johnny Football the last two seasons when really nobody else has, not even LSU.
As good as the defense was last week the offense was equally impressive too.
Against A&M RB Jeremy Hill went over 1000 yards for the season, a number already exceeded by receivers Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham Jr.
With the way the offense is finally cooking it is a shame that QB Zach Mettenberger will be graduating and taking his big arm with him.
Normally Arkansas can run with the Tigers but this year that does not loo like it will be the case.
