UL Lafayette arrives in Jonesboro coming off a 37-20 win on the road at Western Kentucky, extending its current win streak to four games.

The offensive charge was led by Alonzo Harris who rushed for 115 yards and two touchdowns, while Terrance Broadway contributed a one-yard TD run and also threw for a score.

It was a great outing for the Cajuns who are rank 51st on offense, averaging 440 yards per game, as they rolled up 198 yards rushing in the second half alone and finished with 254 on the ground for the game.

Defensively, the Ragin’ Cajuns need some improvement, and are holding teams to 33  points scored on defense, ranking 71st in the country. [soliloquy id=”82219″]

Meanwhile, Arkansas State won its last outing, a 48-24 result against Idaho on October 12.

Quarterback Adam Kennedy passed for 375 yards and four touchdowns in the win, including an 80-yard touchdown strike to Julian Jones on the Red Wolves opening possession.

Arkansas State dominated the game, holding Idaho to just 386 yards, while racking up nearly 600 of its own.

That’s a pretty impressive accomplishment, since the Red Wolves came into the game ranked 25th in the country on offense, averaging nearly 480 yards per game on 211 yards rushing and 268 yards passing per game so far this season.

This matchup will definitely provide for some very good action, as the top two teams in the Sun Belt Conference go at it under the lights.

At home, the Red Wolves are averaging 50 PPG scoring, and holding teams to 23 points scored on defense, while the Ragin’ Cajuns are averaging 28 PPG scoring on the road.
