NCAA College Football season kicks off at betED.com
NCAA College Football action – and NCAA College Football Betting – are back this week as the 2009 College Football season starts Thursday with five matchups.
The biggest game on the opening-night slate features two Top-25 ranked teams, as the Boise State Broncos host the Oregon Ducks (10:15 pm ET, ESPN).
The teams’ rankings are transposed in preseason polls: the Broncos are 14th in the AP Poll and 16th in the USA Today Poll, while the Ducks are 16th in the AP and 14th in the USA Today.

Boise State is a 4-point favorite and the over/under total is 64 in College Football Betting Odds at betED.com.
The Broncos won the last time the teams met, 37-32 as 10-point road underdogs on Sept. 20 last season.
Thursday’s College Pigskin action actually kicks offs in the Carolinas as the ACC North Carolina Wolfpack host the SEC South Carolina Gamecocks (7 pm ET, ESPN).
NCAA Football Odds at betED.com have the Wolfpack as a 5-point favorite with the over/under total at 46.
The teams have split the past two meetings at 1-1 SU and ATS.
Also at 7 pm ET Thursday, the Troy Trojans take on the Bowling Green Falcons on the road.
Bowling Green struggled at home late last season, going 1-4 SU and ATS in their last five at Doyt Perry Stadium.
Troy is a 7-point favorite and the over/under is 56.5.
Another ranked team in action Thursday is the Utah Utes (19th in the AP; 18th in the USA Today) hosting state rival Utah State Aggies.
The Utes are big, 20.5-point favorites and the over/under is 52.
The other game opening night pits the North Texas Mean Green on the road against the Ball State Cardinals.
Ball State is a 16.5-point favorite and the total is 59.5.

A couple of interesting games for opening night. The top two will be Oregon at Boise St and Troy at Bowling Green. I like Boise St winning at home and I’ll go with Troy on the road.
