In their last games TCU beat Texas 20-13 and Oklahoma beat Oklahoma State 51-48 in OT.

On the season Oklahoma is 5-6 ATS and they have an Over/Under record of 7-3 and TCU is 5-6 ATS and they have an Over/Under record of 4-6.

Oklahoma QB Landry Jones passed for 500 yards, yes 500 yards, with 3 TD and 1 INT in the win over Oklahoma State and he has a deep WR corps with many guys that can make big plays. TCU played good pass defense against Texas and overall they rank 50th in the nation defending the pass. Their pass rush has 26 sacks on the season and it is key that they get to Jones and pressure him in the pocket and if they cannot he may have another big game.

OU RB’s Brennan Clay and Damien Williams will man the rushing offense and they may have a hard time running the ball facing TCU and their 7th ranked rushing defense that stuffed the run in the win over Texas.

Trevone Boykin has been pretty good at QB since taking over as the starter mid-season and his top 2 targets in Josh Boyce and Brandon Carter are each averaging over 13 yards per catch. The Sooners do have the nation’s 21st ranked pass defense, but they gave up 289 yards in the air in the win over OSU.

The Horned Frogs leaned heavily on the run in the win over Texas with 217 rushing yards with Boykin rushing for 77 yards and RB B.J. Catalon rushing for 66 yards. TCU will probably rely on the run again since Oklahoma only ranks 85th in the nation in rushing defense and they gave up over 200 yards on the ground against OSU.

If Oklahoma beats TCU and Kansas State beats Texas than the Sooners will need Kent State to lose the MAC title game in order to snag the last BSC at large berth.

In some betting trends for this Big 12 game Oklahoma is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall, 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a S.U. win, an they have an Over record of 4-0 in their last 4 games.

TCU is 0-7 ATS in their last 7 home games vs. a team with a winning road record, 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a S.U. win, and they have an Over record of 9-4 in their last 13 home games.

Jason’s Pick: Going with Oklahoma in this game, as I think Jones will have another big game and while it will not be a blowout the Sooners will win and cover.
