The Vanderbilt Commodores take on the Georgia Bulldogs in a SEC matchup this upcoming Saturday afternoon. Kickoff is scheduled for 12 p.m. (ET) and the game will be broadcast live on ESPN3.com.

Vanderbilt comes into this game fresh off a 52-6 rout of Eastern Michigan. The Commodores covered as a rare 25 ½ point home favorite and the total went ‘over’ the 55 point line. The win raised their record to 2-3 straight-up on the season and 3-2 against the spread. Earlier this season, Vanderbilt covered as an 11 ½ point road underdog in a 28-14 upset victory over Mississippi and as a three-point home underdog in a 23-21 loss to Northwestern in its season opener.

The Commodores’ offense has been powered by a decent running game that is averaging 171.6 yards per game. RB Warren Norman is the team’s leading rusher with 327 yards on 53 carries. He also leads the team in scoring with four TD’s.

Georgia is off to an extremely disappointing start after losing four of its first six games including three losses in the conference. The Bulldogs extracted a small glimmer of hope that they can still turn things around with their 41-14 win over Tennessee last week as an 11 ½ point home favorite. The win moves their record to 2-4 both SU and ATS. NFL Betting

Georgia has played well against some of the better teams in the conference, but could not find a way to pull off the upset. The Bulldogs lost to No. 10 South Carolina 17-6 as a three-point road underdog and to No. 12 Arkansas 31-24 as a 1 ½ point home underdog.

QB Aaron Murray leads a Georgia passing attack that is averaging 233.2 yards per game. He has completed 97-of-157 attempts for 1366 yards and has thrown 10 TD’s. The running game has been less productive, averaging 136.8 yards per game. RB Washaun Ealey leads the team with 246 yards on 60 carries.

Vanderbilt is 2-8 SU in its last 10 games but 6-4 ATS. The Commodores are 1-4 SU but 4-1 ATS in their last five road games. The total has stayed ‘under’ in six of their last 10 games overall.

Georgia is 5-5 both SU and ATS in its last 10 games but just 1-4 SU and ATS in its last five. The Bulldogs are 3-3 SU in their last six home games and 4-2 ATS.

Head-to-head, the Bulldogs have won nine out of the last 10 games SU but is just 5-5 ATS. Vanderbilt is actually 3-1 ATS in the last four games.
