After three straight home games to start the season, the undefeated Oklahoma Sooners travel to Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati to play the Bearcats in a Big 12-Big East clash this Saturday night at 6 p.m.

Oklahoma (3-0) has been all over the board in its first three games. The Sooners were completely dominating two weeks ago in a 47-17 victory over then-No. 17 Florida State in a game they came in as a seven point home favorite. Oklahoma had twice as many first downs (28 to 14) and close to 500 yards of total offense in a game that was essentially over at halftime.

Last week against Air Force, Oklahoma was a 16 ½ point home favorite and had to stave off a furious fourth quarter rally by the Falcons to hold onto a 27-24 win. The Sooners defense gave up 458 yards of total offense including 351 yards on the ground.

The strength of Oklahoma’s offense is a passing game led by Heisman hopeful QB Landry Jones. He has thrown for 851 yards and seven TD’s while completing 61.9 percent of his passes. Jones favorite target by far has been WR Ryan Broyles, who already has 31 receptions for 382 yards and three TD’s. NFL Betting

Cincinnati (1-2) has already lost twice as many games as it did all last season. The Bearcats opened the season on the road as a 2 ½ point underdog to Fresno State and lost the game 28-14; snapping their 18 game regular season winning streak. The game was tied at 14 at the half, but in the second half Cincinnati’s offense could little against an inspired Bulldog defense.

After rebounding with a 40-7 thrashing of Indiana State at home as a 44 point favorite, the Bearcats fell flat on the road again in a 30-19 loss to North Carolina State as a two point underdog. QB Zach Collaros put up some big numbers completing 19-of-31 for 310 yards and three TD’s but much of that came in the second half after the game was pretty much out of reach.

Oklahoma is 8-2 straight up in its last 10 games but just 4-6 against the spread. The Sooners are 1-2 both SU and ATS in their last three games on the road. Six of their last 10 games have stayed ‘under’ the total.

Cincinnati is 7-3 SU in its last 10, but just 1-3 in its last four. ATS, the Bearcats are 0-8 in their last eight games. The total is evenly split with five games staying ‘under’ and five going ‘over’ in their last 10.

These two teams faced each other in 2008 with Oklahoma coming away with a 52-26 win as a 22 ½ point home favorite. The Sooners have struggled a bit on the road and have been unable to put teams away when they have had the chance. Cincinnati’s mass exodus of talent from last year’s team including former head coach Brian Kelly is starting to take its toll.

Home field and pride will keep the Bearcats in this game long enough to just barely cover the 17 ½ point spread.

Betting Trends:

The total has gone UNDER in 5 of Oklahoma’s last 5 games on the road
Oklahoma is 14-6 SU in its last 20 games on the road
Oklahoma is 1-3-1 ATS in its last 5 games on the road
Cincinnati is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games at home
Cincinnati is 19-4 SU in its last 23 games
Oklahoma is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games

The Pick: Cincinnati +17 ½.
