Arkansas

Arkansas is another sample of the dominance of the SEC West.

This is a good team that can dominate on the ground but they are just not good enough to win the league games you have to to have a meaningful season.

These guys lost to Alabama by a point and have not embarrassed themselves in the least but they still might not get a single SEC win this season thanks to a schedule that puts them in the toughest division plus games against Georgia and Mizzou.

To be competitive against Mississippi State they just have to keep doing what they do best and hope that the Bulldogs make a mistake.

If they are the ones with turnovers and penalties it could get ugly but mainly they have been very competitive.

Running will of course be the key and they will be able to have some success but Brandon Allen also has to make a big play or two.

Mississippi State

The Bulldogs got a big win last week.

I know beating the Kentucky Wildcats on the road may not seem like it but when you are the top ranked team in the nation sometimes you just have to get it done and they did.

This week they return home and things should be a little bit easier against Arkansas.

One good thing is they shouldn’t be caught looking ahead to their game against Alabama because they have Tennessee-Martin in between now and then.

Last week they got the win plus a scare with Dak Prescott. He is not on the injury report this week but you have to wonder if they might go a little easier with him if possible.

Last week RB Josh Robinson was incredible rushing for a season high 198 yards.

He is very powerful and the Bulldogs might want to give the Hogs a taste of their own medicine as they look to keep the intensity up.

NCAA Football Week #10 Prediction: Mississippi State -10.5

Arkansas has been kind to me this season but I think they might have already played their best football.

4* FREE NCAAF Score prediction: Mississippi State 38 – Arkansas 24

Unless Dak gets hurt I don’t see this one as staying close and don’t want to bank on th backdoor.
