For the 4th straight season, the Red Wolves will travel to Mobile for their post season bowl when they take on the Toledo Rockets out of the MAC.
Toledo
The Rockets hold the most truth to “one game can change a season.” Toledo’s loss to Northern Illinois on Nov. 11 costed them any chance at a Mid American Conference Championship and put them in line for a date with the Godaddy Bowl.

Toledo is excited to earn a bowl bid in the 2014-2015 season, as they were not a participant last season despite posting an above .500 record at 7-5. The question that remains for the Rockets is who will be under center come Sunday.
Toledo had its fair share of QB injuries this season. The Rockets are hoping and expecting that Sophomore Logan Woodside can give it a go against the Red Wolves. Woodside led the Rockets with 2096 pass yards to go along with 19 passing touchdowns. Woodside was able to play in the final game of the season against Eastern Michigan in which he threw for 5 touchdowns in a 52-16 victory.
Whether or not Woodside is under center, Toledo will lean on the dual running back plan with Kareem Hunt and Terry Swanson. Hunt ran for 1360 yards and 11 touchdowns and Swanson contributed 732 yards and 6 touchdowns.
The Rockets averaged 34.4 points in the regular season (30th) and allowed 29.3 against (86th).
Arkansas State
Winners of the last two Godaddy Bowls, Arkansas State looks to take out another Mid American Conference opponent after defeating Ball State 23-20 in last years game.

The irony behind the 2015 Godaddy Bowl for the Red Wolves is that this will be the first time they’ve had the same coach on the sidelines that was there during the regular season. Arkansas State has been led to it’s 4th straight winning season for the first time since the 84-87 era.
The leading of the Red Wolves is Junior QB Fredi Knighten. Knighten has thrown for 2874 yards and 19 touchdowns. He led Arkansas State to the 51st best passing offense with 248.2 yards a game. While the pass yards aren’t as much as Knighten would like, he has led them to the 22nd best scoring offense with 36.1 points a game.
Knighten and his running backs, Michael Gordon and Johnston White, lead one of the most dangerous rushing attacks in the nation. Averaging 229.0 yards on the ground (24th), the Red Wolves were running wild throughout the entire 2014-2015 season. That especially was true to form in the final game of the regular season when Arkansas State scampered for 469 yards.
While the Red Wolves offense can score with no problem, the defense has it’s problems stopping opponents.

The defense allowed 27.8 points against (76th) and 411.2 yards a game.
