The last time these two teams met was on Nov 15, 2008. The Cowboys walked away with a 30-17 win. Colorado leads Oklahoma State 26-18-1 in series history.

Colorado is coming off a 17-10 loss to Iowa State in Week 11 and has just a single win in their last four. Quarterback Tyler Hansen had 258-yards passing for Colorado who lost its 10th straight road game. Hansen scored the Buffaloes only touchdown of the game throwing a 36-yard TD pass to receiver Markques Simas with 3:17 remaining in the game. Hansen also had one interception in the loss.

Colorado committed three turnovers in the second half, including two within the first three minutes of the third quarter. Problems with offensive execution have plagued Colorado all season and the defense has been mediocre at best.

Oklahoma State has established itself as the second-best team in the Big 12 behind the Texas Longhorns. The Cowboys have won two straight games and are coming off a close 24-17 victory over Texas Tech in Week 11. Quarterback Zac Robinson completed nine passes for 90 yards with a touchdown in that win and has solidified himself as one of the most efficient passers in the Big 12, and also a threat to run. Running back Keith Toston has successfully established a solid rushing attack for OSU, and the defense is much improved and tough in pass coverage.

Colorado vs. Oklahoma St. Odds

The odds makers currently have the Cowboys as –18-point favorites.

Colorado will need to click better on offense and mitigate the turnovers. If Oklahoma State continues to get the kind of production from its ground game that it did in the second half against Texas Tech, the Cowboys could be unstoppable.

Buffaloes vs Cowboys Free Pick

Look for the Cowboys to roll over the Buffaloes in this one to cover the spread.
