The Wolverines are coming off a huge win against Notre Dame and this could be a letdown situation, except for the fact that they are facing Eastern Michigan. Had it been anyone decent, the Wolverines might have had a chance to lose.
Instead, the Wolverines get a cupcake in Eastern Michigan, who allowed 300 yards rushing and four touchdowns to Army. They also lost to Army.
Michigan won’t stumble at home against this pitiful opponent.

The BYU Cougars are flying high after their win against Oklahoma and the Florida State Seminoles are down in the dumps after losing to Miami, then nearly losing to Jacksonville State.
This will be BYU’s home opener so you can expect that the crowd will be fired up but BYU may be somewhat overrated. Sure, they beat Oklahoma but barely – and that was after Sam Bradford was knocked out of the contest.
Let’s see how they fare against another capable BCS conference team – one that is healthy.

Good on Howard Schnellenberger and Florida Atlanta for schedule games against the big boys from the BCS conference each year but the truth is that they simply don’t have what it takes to win – or even compete – in these games.
FAU is going to take a beating again as their lines of scrimmage simply don’t compare to the Gamecocks. Look for South Carolina to be able to run the ball, pass the ball and do whatever they practically want as they stay in control throughout this game.

Texas Tech Red Raiders @ Texas Longhorns

The Longhorns remember what happened and they have been waiting for payback. It will come this week as the Longhorns roll.
