College Hoops UConn @ West Virginia
The Connecticut Huskies travel to West Virginia to battle the Mountaineers in what sports betting fans have to consider one of the most intriguing match-ups of the week in college basketball. I’m actually surprised that the Mountaineers are favored in this game. Even though they are a good home team and Coach Bob Huggins knows how to get his team ready for big games like this one, West Virginia has nobody on their team that matches up well with UConn big man Hasheem Thabeet.
Thabeet is averaging over 10 rebounds a game but Thabeet isn’t the only player on the Huskies’ squad that can really do some damage to the Mountaineers. A.J. Price leads the Huskies in assists and had 7 in UConn’s last game. Jerome Dyson leads the Huskies in points with over 14 a game.
The Huskies are extremely well balanced. They may not be that good against the BetUS online basketball betting spread, but they are a good enough team to beat West Virginia.
