Pac 10 powerhouses – UCLA at Washington
The Washington Huskies travel to Pauley Pavilion to take on the UCLA Bruins in a clash of two huge Pac-10 powerhouses. The Huskies might not have the respect that the UCLA Bruins have from college basketball fans but sports betting fans know who the Washington Huskies are. They’ve gone 14 and 4 straight-up and 10 and 6 against the BetUS spread. They continue to be a very solid online basketball bet almost every time they take to the court.
UCAL is UCLA. This team, under Coach Ben Howland, is always going to be in the thick of the Pac-10 race. They are a solid team on both offense and defense with Darren Collison and Josh Shipp helping out the youngsters that Howland has recruited. NCAAB betting fans love UCLA’s straight-up record of 15 and 3 but their record against the spread of 8 and 9 isn’t all that great.

There’s no way that the BetUS oddsmakers don’t make the Bruins a prohibitive favorite in the sportsbook. UCLA has known players, a known program, and always play tough on the road.
But Washington has an inside edge because even though they have lost one more game than UCLA this season, they are still a viable Pac-10 contender. UCLA is going to have to work very hard to win this game.
I’ve set my threshold bet at +6 ½ but I’m going to give myself another point.

If the Washington Huskies are at +5 ½ or higher in the BetUS online sportsbook against the UCLA Bruins come Saturday morning, I’ll be making a wager on Washington to beat the spread at home.
If the Huskies are getting less than +5 ½, then I will have to bet the UCLA Bruins to cover.
