Auburn sure has had a tough time of it this season. They have only 4 conference wins but two have come in their last two games so they are on a roll for them. Their previous encounter with Georgia was an ATS win and you can see from their season long ATS record that they have been just a bit better than oddsmakers give them credit for.
This is a low scoring team whose best win this season was against FSU, a team that struggles to put the ball in the basket too. When their defense is good they can hang with teams for a while but they struggle when they need to score to keep up. 
Georgia is a top heavy team with forward Trey Thompkins and guard Travis Leslie. Thompkins is pretty consistent in the post while Leslie, who is more athletic than talented, can be a mystery from game to game. The rest of the squad is pretty workmanlike and they need their two stars to perform very well for them to go deep in this tournament and possibly grab a bid.
Losing in the first round to a team like Auburn is both unacceptable and very unlikely. This team needs a good run and will have the luxury of playing in their second home – the Georgia Dome.
