The Florida State Seminoles are in desperate need of a conference win when they take on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets this Thursday night in an ACC matchup. Tip-off from Atlanta is set for 7 p.m. (ET) and the game will be broadcast on ESPN2.
Florida State followed up an 85-61 victory over Wake Forest last Tuesday as a 19-point home favorite by getting blown out by North Carolina 89-69 as a 6 ½-point road underdog this past Saturday. The Seminoles are now 16-7 straight-up (9-8-1 against the spread) and 6-3 SU in the ACC.
Chris Singleton and Derwin Kitchen are responsible the majority of the production for Florida State this season. Singleton leads the team with 13.9 points and 7.3 rebounds, and Kitchen is averaging 10.3 points and a team-high 3.7 assists. The Seminoles are averaging 70 points and 40 rebounds a game. 
Georgia Tech has lost three of its last four games including a 59-57 loss to Miami last Thursday night as a six-point road underdog and a 65-56 loss to Clemson as a one-point home underdog this past Saturday. The Yellow Jackets fell to 10-12 SU (8-9 ATS) overall and to 3-6 SU in conference play.
Iman Shumpert remains a one-man force for Georgia Tech as he leads the team with an average of 16.6 points, six rebounds, and 3.5 assists a game. Glen Rice Jr. is the team’s second leading scorer with 13.2 points a game but they will be without Brian Oliver, who is averaging 10.9 points this season. The Yellow Jackets are averaging 69 points and 36 rebounds a game.
Florida State cannot afford anymore losses in the conference so you can expect a solid performance on the road out of the Seminoles in this one.
