The Missouri Tigers had hoped to pick up a big win at Texas last weekend, but they still come into this game having won seven of their last ten. Oklahoma State has lost three in a row, and they badly need a victory. The Cowboys are typically great Gallagher-Iba Arena, so Missouri should be in for a tough battle.
Missouri has lost just four games this year, and all of them have come against quality teams. Three of their four losses have been on the road. They’ll look to break out of their road woes in a tough environment on Wednesday. The Tigers are all about pressing on defense and forcing the tempo on offense. 
This is a guard oriented team, but they have talented big men as well. Marcus Denmon is the senior leader of this team, and he is a 48% shooter from beyond the arc. Ricardo Ratcliffe and Laurence Bowers form a nice tandem down low, and they average almost 13 rebounds between them. This is a Missouri team that prides itself on wearing their opponent down as the game goes along.
Oklahoma State lost their main man in James Anderson from last year’s team, and they aren’t the same without him. This team doesn’t have the offensive firepower that they have had in recent years. Marshall Moses is their leading scorer and rebounder, and he is a force down in the post. The Cowboys rely on their solid defense to keep them in the game.
They’ll need to try to slow the tempo down in this one if they are going to be successful.
