The Florida Gators will be going for win number 24 when they wrap-up their regular season against the Vanderbilt Commodores this Saturday at Memorial Gym in Nashville. Game time is set for 6 p.m. and it will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.

Florida locked-up a share of the SEC regular season title with a lopsided 78-51 win over Alabama this past Tuesday night as a six-point home favorite. This followed a 76-68 loss to No.22 Kentucky as an eight-point road underdog last Saturday. The Gators are now 23-6 straight-up but just 11-13-1 against the spread. They have the best conference record in the SEC at 12-3 SU.

There are four Florida players scoring in double-figures led by Erving Walker’s 14.4 points a game. Chandler Parsons leads the team in rebounds with 7.8 and assists with 3.7 a game and Kenny Boynton’s 13.6 points a game is second highest on the team. Florida is averaging 71 points and 38 rebounds a game.

Vanderbilt has dropped two of its last three games including a 68-66 heartbreaker to Kentucky this past Tuesday night as an eight-point road underdog. The loss dropped the Commodores to 21-8 SU overall (15-9-1 ATS) and to 9-6 SU in SEC play.

John Jenkins is Vanderbilt’s leading scorer with 19.4 points a game. Brad Tinsley is averaging 10.8 points a game and a team-high 4.5 assists while Jeffery Taylor is second in points with 14.5 and rebounds with 5.5. The Commodores are shooting 45.8 percent from the field and averaging 77 points a game.

The Gators won the first meeting between the two with a thrilling 65-61 victory in overtime as a 4 ½-point home favorite. This time around, stick with Florida to finish its regular season on a high-note by sweeping the series with an outright win on the road.

Trends:
Under is 18-8 in FLA last 26 Sat. games.
Over is 6-2 in VANDY last 8 home games.
Over is 13-6 in VANDY last 19 Sat. games.

The Pick: Florida 73-65
