This game is to make up for the originally scheduled date on Feb. 18, which was postponed for safety reasons after a metal facing fell from the rafters and damaged some seats at Assembly Hall.

While Indiana enters this contest having lost four of their last five games, their jumbled scheduled has seen the team play four of those five games away from home. The Hoosiers have been solid in their own building this season, posting a 12-3 mark at Assembly Hall.

As for Iowa, the streak of two consecutive losses the team brings to Bloomington marks the team’s first back-to-back losses of the season, a streak they’d surely like to be rid of in a hurry, and this rescheduled game gives them a perfect opportunity to do so. The Hawkeyes’ defense is what’s let the team down in their last two games. The Hawkeyes have surrendered an average of 87.0 points per game in losses to Wisconsin and Minnesota. The team’s defensive deficiencies were particularly evident in their last game when the team surrendered 95 points to Minnesota, allowing them to shoot 61.2 percent from the field. The Gophers also hit on 11-of-19 shots from beyond the arc, making them the first team to hit on better than half of their three-point attempts against Iowa this season.

Expect Hawkeyes head coach Fran McCaffrey to give his boys the business in advance of this contest, less than a week after banning all of them from Twitter. Iowa has limited opponents to 39.8 percent shooting from the floor and 30.2 percent shooting from beyond the arc on the season, so he certainly won’t consider their performance against Minnesota acceptable. The team’s offensive play has been just fine though. Iowa’s 78.6 points per game in Big Ten play are tops in the conference, more than five points better than second-place Michigan State.

The Hoosiers have been able to make some noise in home games this season, but they’ve been playing in such poor form lately that it’s tough to expect a whole lot from them as they take the step up in class here. The team’s last home game saw the team lose to a bad Penn State squad, and now they’ll be facing an Iowa team hungry for a win.

The Hawkeyes are 16-5 ATS in the last 21 meetings between these teams, and are 8-3 in the last 11 meetings between the teams at Assembly Hall.

The play: Iowa -4
