College Hoops – National Powers Collide
The Georgetown Hoyas (12-3 SU, 6-5 ATS, 5-6 O/U) have won two straight games in the BetUS Sportsbook following a two-game losing streak, covering the spread the last time they took the floor. The Duke Blue Devils (15-1 SU, 9-6 ATS, 4-10 O/U) have won seven straight games and covered the spread their last time out after a modest two-game ATS losing streak.
On Saturday, both national powerhouses will look to pick up a victory when they battle at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
The Hoyas are coming off a thorough 88-74 win over Syracuse on Wednesday, covering the spread for BetUS NCAA college basketball sports betting backers as 6-8 center DaJuan Summers scored a team-high 21 points to lead four players that reached double figures in scoring.
The Hoyas shot a blistering 59.3 percent from the field, including an impressive 12-for-21 effort from three-point distance while limiting the Orangemen to 47.5 percent shooting.
The Blue Devils routed Georgia Tech 70-56 on Wednesday to cover the spread as a 12-point road favorite as Gerald Henderson and Kyle Singler each scored 19 points apiece.

Analysis: Though No Odds were posted for this matchup at the time of this writing, I am going on record right now to say that I fully expect the more athletic Georgetown Hoyas to march into Cameron Indoor Stadium and walk right out with a victory! The fact of the matter is that the Dookies haven’t been tested a whole bunch in their 16 games to date and should be ripe for an upset if you ask me.
I like Georgetown to win outright – or in a worst-case scenario – fall by just a couple of points.
