In their Elite 8 games Louisville beat Duke 85-63 and Wichita State beat Ohio State 70-66.

On the season Wichita State is 19-14-2 ATS and they have an Over/Under record of 14-15 and Louisville is 23-15 ATS and they have an Over/Under record of 18-14.

The Cardinals have play a great pressure defense and a well-balanced offense and they have yet to be tested in the Big Dance winning all 4 of their games by at least 12 points.

Louisville leading scorer Russ Smith averaged 18.9 ppg this season and in the 3 tourney games he has scored 27 points, 31 points, and 23 points. He and fellow G Peyton Siva (9.9 ppg), who scored 16 points in the win over Duke, are lightning quick and they gave the Duke backcourt major problems.

Louisville 6’11” C Gorgui Dieng (10.2 ppg 9.5 rpg) scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the win over Duke and he and FW Chane Behanan give the Cardinals a solid frontcourt, so the Shockers need to play good all around defense to win this game. [ad-6571516]

For Wichita State they are led by the frontcourt duo of Cleanthony Early (13.7 ppg 5.3 rpg) and Carl Hall (12.5 ppg 6.9 rpg) and they also have a solid backcourt. Their G play will be key not only in the scoring department, but holding onto the rock facing a great Louisville press defense.

The Shcokers only shot 37.3% from the field on the win over Ohio State, but they won with their D that held the Buckeyes to only 31.1% from the floor. Their D will be key and they need to repeat their performance they did against Ohio State shooting the 3-pointer well and attacking the rim and getting easy points from the charity stripe.

In some betting trends for this Final 4 match up Wichita State is -0 ATS in their last 4 games overall, 5-0 ATS in their last 5 non-conference games, and they have an Over record of 5-1 in their last 6 non-conference games.

Louisville is 9-1 ATS in their last 10 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record and they have an Over record of 8-0 in their last 8 games.

Jason’s Pick: Wichita State has had an impressive run to the Final 4, but Louisville is on fire and they will not only win this game they will also cover the double-digit spread.
