Surprising Cornhuskers Hit Road to Take On Majerus, Billikens

The St. Louis Billikens (2-1 SU, 1-1 ATS, 1-1 O/U) bounced back from a heart-breaking loss in a big way, beating Boston College 53-50 at home on Saturday. The Nebraska Cornhuskers (3-0 SU, 2-0 ATS, 0-2 O/U) are off to a 3-0 start and are coming off a convincing 67-53 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff at home on Saturday.

Tonight, both teams will be gunning for a victory on Tuesday when they meet at Bob Devaney Sports Center.

St. Louis got 15 points from freshman guard Daniel Lisch and 11 from freshman forward Brian Conklin to cover the spread for bettors as a 1-point home favorite.

The Cornhuskers play their first road game of the season after smacking back Arkansas-Pine Bluff the last time out. Sophomore guard Steve Harley led the Cornhuskers with 18 points on 7-for-14 shooting with junior guard Sek Henry adding 14 points on 5-for-7 shooting from the field.

NCAAB Odds

Saint Louis +10½ -110
Nebraska -10½ -110

Analysis: I like St. Louis and head coach Rick Majerus to keep this game close while pushing Nebraska for the outright win on its home floor. Either way, I don’t see the Billikens going down easily in this contest.
