Baylor
The handed Kansas their worst loss of the season beating the Jayhawks by 23 points.
The Bears could certainly use some more wins to breathe easier on Selection Sunday and they have the ability to win the Big 12 tournament.
Bears point guard Pierre Jackson has been fantastic this season, leading the league in scoring and assists. He was a monster against KU with 28 and 10. Baylor is going to need to dominate on the inside against Oklahoma State with Cory Jefferson and Isaiah Austin.

Jefferson is also coming off a fantastic game with 25 points on 11 for 13 shooting. The talent has always been there for Baylor.
Short spread in this one with lots at stake for the Bears. I know I am higher on this team than I should be because they can look so good for stretches. I think Baylor will use their desperation to create an upset that just might get them into the tournament.

If you don’t think they can win too then I would avoid. With fouls at the end this could easily be a 7 point game.
Oklahoma State
After beating Kansas State and with Kansas losing, the Oklahoma State Cowboys find themselves in second place in the Big 12. Their ticket is punched for sure but they have a chance to really improve their seeding over the next few days.
When they tangled with Baylor earlier in the season they won by just 2 points at home and lost by 10 on the road.
A neutral site might make the outcome different this time around.
In the victory guard Marcus Smart really shone with 14 points, rebounds and 7 assists. He also had 4 steals while committing 0 turnovers. You could easily argue it was his most effective game of the season and proof that in any game he can be the ultimate difference maker.
The Cowboys are definitely going to need big man Michael Cobbins to answer the bell too because they don’t have nearly as much depth inside as Baylor.
OSU has the advantage in the backcourt with a slew of athletic wing players but if they aren’t shooting straight they will likely get owned on the boards. I like the Cowboys as an NCAA sleeper but think they will drop this one against a desperate Baylor squad.
Should be a great game to watch.
