The ACC Tournament continues Friday with a great slate of games. One of the standout matchups include a four/five-seed matchup between Clemson and Boston College.

Clemson (20-10, 12-13-1 ATS) earned the fourth seed in the ACC Tournament. The Tigers struggled over the second half of the season, however, going 7-6 over their final 13 games. Clemson showed some signs of life over the last two weeks, though, winning three of its final four games (none of the wins came over any of the conference’s top three teams, however).

The Tigers’ key player is Demontez Stitt. The senior guard is Clemson’s scoring and emotional leader—though his emotions can be a problem at times. Stitt picked up a technical foul in the regular-season finale against Virginia and the coaching staff is careful to keep his fiery spirit in check—to a degree. Despite the technical, Stitt scored 15 points and led the team to a 69-60 win in that game. Stitt has been incredibly consistent over his past eight games, scoring between 14 and 17 points every time. Online Sports Betting at Sportsbook

Boston College (20-11, 16-11 ATS) came through with an 81-67 victory over Wake Forest in the first round of the ACC tourney. It was B.C.’s first conference tournament win since 2009. The Eagles were 13-point favorites in the game, improving them to 3-1 ATS in their last four outings. B.C. has won four consecutive games straight up.

Reggie Jackson, Biko Paris and Joe Trapani each stepped up for the Eagles, as all three players scored 20-plus points. Jackson, who finished with a game-high 27 points, has been playing very well lately. He’s topped 20-plus points in five of his past eight games and is averaging 21.5 per game in that span.

The Eagles suddenly have a ton of momentum on their side. They’ve won four straight games by double digits, winning by an average margin of 16 points. Considering the Tigers didn’t exactly dominate the competition over the second half, Boston College feels like the way to go.
