Speaking of the playoffs, there is brave talk in Phoenix, where the .500 (27-27) Suns are still talking about playing games beyond mid-April. But with a 6-game road trip starting this weekend, the Suns need to seize the moment against the Hawks tonight. The Hawks reconfigured their rotation with the mid-season deal with the Magic, and so far, so good.
The Suns come out of the All-Star break with 8 wins in their last 10 games, and just 2½ games behind the struggling Jazz in the battle for the final spot. Definitely doable, assuming they can keep their heads above water and play well on the road – only 12 of the final 28 games are at home.
