TNT brings you its 4-star hotel special tonight. None of these teams is quite the Ritz Carlton, but you won’t find bedbugs at any of them either. The Suns, Magic, Nuggets and Trail Blazers are all 50-plus win teams, all have the potential to go at least two rounds into the playoffs and all have flaws that probably will eventually be unearthed and prevent any from winning the title.

***The Suns have recovered from a rough start and had some momentum going until they were plowed under by the Heat last night in Miami. Miami ran the Suns’ subs into the ground in the second period (37-19) and put the game away, and with the outcome pretty much determined by halftime it allowed Phoenix to limit the minutes of its key players.

Only Jason Richardson played more than 30 minutes, and Steve Nash was ineffective with only two assists. At least the Suns will not be playing on dead legs as they go back to back. Online Sports Betting at Sportsbook

***With attention focused on Miami and Boston off to a blazing start, the Magic have embarked on a stealth campaign. Orlando has had an A-minus start to the season, winning 7 of 10. But the Magic disappeared in their only two signature games so far, losing to the Heat and the Jazz, both at home.

Orlando needs to stop turtling in big games in order to wedge itself back into the Lakers-Celtics-Heat title conversation.

Beating the Suns would be a good start, and San Antonio and Miami are both on the schedule in the next 7 days.

Best bet: Forget the parlay here and bang the Blazers hard on this one. Denver has been a poor road team this season and the Blazers need to get this one before embarking on a tough stretch that includes home games against Utah and New Orleans followed by a 4-game East Coast swing. Liking Portland -3.
