NBA Betting – Raptors vs. Heat

Free pick and preview plus NBA betting odds and basketball lines for the matchup featuring the Toronto Raptors and the Miami Heat…

Inconsistent Ballclub’s Meet as Heat Host Raptors

The Toronto Raptors (5-5 SU, 5-5 ATS, 6-4 O/U) made some nice offseason transactions but have been maddeningly inconsistent over the season’s first two weeks in the BetUS Sportsbook! The Miami Heat (6-5 SU, 5-5-1 ATS, 4-7 O/U) have alternated wins and losses in each of their last seven games, but got a rare road win in their last game.

Tonight, both teams will be looking to pick up a victory at American Airlines Arena when they face each other for the second time in the last three games.

The Raptors made my pick of them covering as 7.5-point road underdogs in the BetUS Locker Room look really bad in losing to the Orlando Magic 103-90 on Tuesday night.

Despite getting a terrific 40-point effort out of all-star forward Chris Bosh, the Raptors allowed three Magic players to score 22 points apiece, not including the 18 points they gave up to Dwight Howard.

Bosh is averaging 26.6 points per game so far this season and a whopping 32.3 points per contest over his last three.

“The way he’s playing words can’t describe, and it’s not just scoring and rebounding,” Toronto coach Sam Mitchell said. “He’s doing all the little things.”

Toronto committed a season-high 24 turnovers in the loss.

The Raptors averaged the second-fewest turnovers last season (11.7), but has seen that figure rise to 15.2 this season.

“You’ve just got to take care of the ball,” Bosh said. “That’s what we’ve thrived on in the past couple of years. That’s what keeps us in games.”

The Heat are coming off a solid 94-87 win over the Washington Wizards on Monday, covering the spread as 2-point road underdogs.

Dwyane Wade finished with 19 points, 10 assists and six rebounds as the Heat (6-5) improved to 2-4 on the road.

“We would love to have a game like this where everybody is in double figures all across the board,” said Wade, who is averaging 27.1 points this season. “That means a great team.”

The Heat have held opponents to just 87.0 points at home compared to 99.5 on the road.

Toronto Raptors +3 -110
Miami Heat -3 -110

Over 188 -110
Under 188 -110

Analysis: I know the Miami heat have played excellent basketball at home all season long, but Sunday’s win by Toronto over Miami showed the home team tonight is clearly not in the same league as their foes. I like the inconsistent Raptors to bounce back from Tuesday’s loss with a big road win in this contest!

Take the Raptors and the over and don’t look back BetUS NBA Sportsbook faithful!
