Monday’s NBA odds are absolutely massive, as two games serve as potential previews of the upcoming NBA Finals. First, the San Antonio Spurs visit the Miami Heat. Later the Magic vs. Lakers.

Miami (45-21, 30-35-1 ATS) has emerged from last week’s state of panic to win back-to-back games. The Heat had dropped five in a row, but they beat the Lakers 94-88 on Thursday and manhandled Memphis 118-85 on Saturday. Miami covered both of those games, ending a seven-game losing streak against the spread.

The Heat got an absolutely absurd game from Dwyane Wade against Memphis. Wade is expected to deliver offensively, of course, and he did with 28 points and nine assists. But the star guard was impressive all over the court, as he added five blocks, five rebounds and three steals.

He’s not the only one of the Big Three to pick up his play. Chris Bosh—public enemy No. 1 when things go wrong in Miami—has stepped up his game over the past two wins. Bosh dropped 24 points and nine rebounds on Los Angeles while scoring 18 points and grabbing 10 boards against the Grizzlies. Bosh has found his stroke and has hit 60 percent of his shots from the field in his last two games. Online Sports Betting at Sportsbook

If Miami can get a little healthier up front, Bosh’s life will be even easier. Zydrunas Ilgauskas missed the Memphis game after suffering a foot infection (the lanky center stepped on a nail). He likely won’t play tonight. There is help coming on the horizon, though. Udonis Haslem has sat out with a foot injury since November, but he’s started shooting jumpers and could be in the lineup by the end of March.

San Antonio (54-12, 37-27-2 ATS) has cruised to three straight victories, but the club isn’t making NBA bettors any money. The Spurs have covered just three times in their last 11 games. They did manage to cover in Saturday’s 115-107 win over the Houston Rockets.

The Spurs are taking care of business because of a very balanced offense, and possibly the best bench in the NBA. San Antonio had eight different players score in double figures against Houston, and the bench racked up 42 points. While Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili and Tim Duncan remain the core of the team, there are plenty of other Spurs pulling their weight.

San Antonio already crushed Miami once this year, winning 125-95 on March 3. That was in the midst of Miami’s meltdown, though, and the Heat have seemingly regained their focus. That said, San Antonio has fantastic depth—far too much for Miami to handle. The bench will make the difference in this one, and the Spurs will steal a road win.

Trends:

SA are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 road games.
SA are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games overall.
SA are 20-8-2 ATS in their last 30 Mon. games.
Over is 10-2 in MIA last 12 vs. Western Conference.
MIA are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games overall.
Under is 18-3 in the last 21 meetings.

Come on Ian…You’re usually pretty good, but this was a pretty bad pick. Lets try to make up for it!

Was it ever.

Heat have their mojo back, and Bosh is actually playing very well (24/9, 18/10, 30/12 in his last three games). Maybe he’s finally got a chip on his shoulder after all the crap he’s taken this year.
