After falling down 2-0 in their first-round playoff series with the Dallas Mavericks, the Portland Trail Blazers have stormed back into the series, winning the past two games on home turf. Now the series shifts back to Dallas for Game 5.

Portland is coming off an 84-82 win in Game 4, though Dallas has dominated the series against the spread, going 3-0-1 on NBA odds.

Saturday’s victory was spurred on by a shocking, brilliant, explosive performance by Brandon Roy. Roy was the heart of the franchise until this year, when injuries reduced him to a shell of his former self. After complaining—and then apologizing—about his playing time after Game 2, Roy has looked like his old self. He went 6-for-10 for 16 points in Game 3, then went completely crazy in Game 4. Roy went 8-for-10 in the fourth quarter, scoring 18 of his 24 points in the final period. Online Sports Betting at Sportsbook

Now, the pressure is on Dallas. The Mavericks were carried in their first two games by some surprising, red-hot play from Jason Kidd. Kidd has since fallen back to Earth, scoring just 17 points in his past two games combined. To make matters worse, Dallas’ best two players are struggling. Dirk Nowitzki scored just 20 points in Game 4 and is shooting 41.3 percent in the series (he shot a career-high 51.7 percent during the regular season). Terry was fantastic in Game 3, scoring 29 points, but has been brutal in his other three outings (10, 10 and 13 points).

If Roy is truly back, the rest of the league is in deep trouble. Plenty of bettors already liked Portland as a sneaky sleeper pick because of their deep rotation, but having Roy at full strength gives the team two franchise players (including big man LaMarcus Aldridge). The Blazers have somehow gone 0-3-1 in their first four games against the spread in this series, but they’ll find a way to cover on Monday.

NBA Trends:

Over is 8-2 in POR last 10 vs. NBA Southwest.
DAL are 7-0-1 ATS in their last 8 games overall.
Under is 11-4 in the last 15 meetings in Dallas.
