Oklahoma City (15-8, 9-13 ATS) has rotated between wins and losses over the last five games. The most recent outing was a 111-103 victory in Minnesota; the Thunder covered as a five-point favorite, ending a four-game slide against the spread.

Several OKC players are already established stars—Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, Jeff Green—but the Thunder may have found a fourth scoring threat in James Harden. Harden, a lottery pick last season, has blossomed over the past few weeks. He’s averaging 11.3 points and 47.2 percent shooting over his past 10 games. Harden has scored in double figures in four of his past five games. Online Sports Betting at Sportsbook

With Harden becoming a credible threat, Oklahoma City could prove unstoppable on some nights. The team trailed Minnesota by 19 at one point, but Durant scored 20 of his 30 points in the second half to lead the comeback. Westbrook added 25 points of his own.

New Orleans (14-7, 10-9-1 ATS) has won just twice in its past four games. Wednesday’s 93-74 win over Detroit ended a two-game losing streak. The Hornets covered as 10-point favorites, but they’re a pathetic 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games.

Off-the-court distractions might become an issue. The franchise is on the verge of being owned and operated by the NBA, though the league claims the day-to-day operations will remain the same. Forward David West says the team is moving forward as usual and that business is just business.

The Hornets did a nice job defensively in the Detroit game, but it’s the offense that needs to turn things around. The Hornets have failed to top 100 points in 10 consecutive games, averaging just 89.6 points over that span. Not surprisingly, they’ve only won three games during the stretch.

Plain and simple, the Hornets are already struggling—and they have history against them. The Thunder have won three straight against New Orleans, including 3-0 ATS. That includes a 95-89 win just a few weeks ago. With Harden emerging and Oklahoma City growing even tougher to stop, it’s hard to imagine New Orleans keeping up.
