One of the worst teams in the NBA will meet one of the best Tuesday night, when the Cleveland Cavaliers pay a visit to the Los Angeles Lakers on NBA odds.

Los Angeles (27-11, 17-21 ATS) is riding a four-game winning streak. Sunday’s 109-87 victory over the Knicks improved the club to 6-1 in its last seven games and, despite covering, the Lakers remain brutal against NBA odds; they’ve covered just three times in their past 10 games.

The Knicks game was the best, most complete effort Los Angeles has given in a while. The Lakers were dialed in offensively, as Kobe Bryant scored 27 points. More importantly, the team got a big performance from Pau Gasol. Online Sports Betting at Sportsbook

Gasol has been very hit or miss over the past month or so, but he appears to finally be back on track. The big man racked up 20 points and 14 rebounds against New York, which followed up a 21-point, 13-rebound performance against New Orleans. If Gasol can keep this pace up, the Lakers will be difficult to stop.

He wasn’t the only big name that delivered against the Knicks. Andrew Bynum recorded 18 points, seven boards and a pair of blocks in 24 minutes before getting ejected for arguing calls; Lamar Odom came off the bench to score 13 points and grab 18 rebounds—his third straight double-double.

Cleveland (8-29, 13-22-2 ATS) is absolutely miserable. The Cavs have lost 10 straight games and are suffering through a 1-21 run. Wins have been just as hard to come by against the spread, as the Cavaliers are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games—although they did cover in Sunday’s 108-100 loss in Phoenix.

If Cavs fans didn’t think the season could get any worse, they are sadly mistaken. Cenver Anderson Varejao is done for the year after tearing a tendon in his foot. Varejao is arguably the club’s best defensive player; considering Cleveland is already allowing nearly 104 points per game, that’s pretty disastrous (unless your only concern at this point is getting into the NBA draft lottery; then, it’s a pretty good thing).

This is a horrendous mismatch for the Cavaliers. Talent alone is an issue, but they’re running into the Lakers just when the team seems to be on the upswing. Kobe and Co. should have no problems racking up 120 points and laying waste to the awful Cavaliers.
