There are 6 Wizards scoring in double figures led by PG John Wall. Coming out of college I didn’t think he would be such a scoring threat but he is averaging just under 20ppg while dishing 8 assists so clearly he can get his own offense and create for others. He and SG Bradley Beal form one of the highest scoring backcourts around and can be good defensively when motivated. They get points in the post too from Nene and Marcin Gortat it is all there for these guys.
Since the Wizards have been having success on the road it was not a surprise to see they are 12-7 ATS there this season. This looks like a great spot to play them too as they have not played the day before and are catching Chicago at the right time. Knowing they have generally played well lets to you bet them with confidence.

As surprising as it may be the Bulls are on a run. They have won their last 5 games heading into this one, covering all 5 times too. It looks like they might be in tank mode but they are playing such good defense that they are going to net themselves more wins than probably makes sense if that is really your objective. Can they extend the streak to one more or is this the perfect time to fade them? I think probably the later.
With Derrick Rose hurt and Luol Deng now traded, PF Carlos Boozer has become the leading scorer for Chicago by default. The last time out Joakim Noah led the club with 19/14 but that is a rarity and to be frank you are not going to win too often when he is your top point getter. Chicago is going to have no choice but to really spread it around the rest of the year. It has been working over their 5 game winning streak but I still don’t like the way this team looks.
This seems like the perfect spot to fade Chicago. Yes defense is usually more consistent game to game than offense but I don’t trust this team to be able to score consistently enough to win and after 5 games they are totally due for a crash. This is a perfect time to crush your book with a big spot play.
