NBA Playoffs Basketball Matchup: Pacers vs Magic
The Magic got off to a good start in this series by stealing Game 1 on Jason Richardson’s hot shooting. While they did take home court advantage away from the Pacers, you still have to like Indiana’s chances because of how they rebounded in Game 2.

Indiana came back and dominated the game every which way. They employed their usual balanced attack in that three players led their team with 18 points. A player that is not included there is Pacer big man, Roy Hibbert.
This is a guy that was expected to take that next step in his career in this series. You figure a guy of his size should not be stopped, or even slowed by anyone that is on the active roster for this Magic team. Considering he is being checked by either Ryan Anderson or Glen Davis every trip down the floor, he needs to be making a bigger impact. [soliloquy id=”82219″]
On the other side, it is Davis that has been making his mark. It’s been through volume shooting, but someone has to pick up the slack. He has been that guy. For the Magic to take hold of this series though, they are going to have to hit the three-point shot with more consistency.
They did it in Game 1, and the end result was a win.
They failed to find the range in Game 2 though, and that’s why they lost.
This series is based on some pretty simple things. If Orlando is able to get good look, after good look from behind the arc, then they will have every chance to win this series.
If not, they will struggle mightily as they just do not have the consistent low post threat.
Free Pick : Indiana- Pacers were 2-20 from behind the arch and still won by 15, so I am going with Indy here.
