The new-look New York Knicks will go for the Florida sweep when they take on the Orlando Magic this Tuesday night at the Amway Center. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. and the game will be broadcast nationally on NBA TV.

New York is coming off a huge 91-86 victory over Miami on Sunday as a 10-point road underdog. This followed an ugly 115-109 loss to Cleveland as an eight-point road favorite this past Friday night. The Knicks are now 30-27 straight-up (34-21-2 against the spread) and in sixth-place in the Eastern Conference; 12 games in back of Boston.

Carmelo Anthony has averaged 27.7 points in three games with his new team. Chauncey Billips, who also came over from Denver, has been a force as well with 21 points and six assists a game in his first three. This helps to compliment Amar’e Stoudemire’s 25.9 points and team-high 8.6 rebounds a game. The Knicks have averaged 104.7 points in their last three while giving up an average of 103.

Orlando has won four of its last five games including a 100-86 rout of Charlotte on Sunday as an 11-point home favorite. The Magic is now 38-22 SU and 28-31-1 ATS. They are five games behind Miami in the Southeast Division and in fourth-place in the East.

Dwight Howard could be the next superstar on the move after voicing his frustration about the lack of consistent effort from some of his teammates, but for now he continues to be the face of the organization with 23.2 points and 13.8 rebounds a game. The Magic averaging 100 points a game while giving up 94 which is the fifth-best point differential in the league.

The Knicks will keep this game competitive well into the fourth quarter, but stick with Orlando to win and cover the seven points.
