Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Phoenix Suns Preview
On the season the Cavaliers are 13-25 ATS and they have an O/U record of 12-25-1 and the Suns are 22-16-2 ATS and they have an Under record of 24-16.
This season the Suns are 9-7 at home and the cavaliers are 8-10 on the road.

In their last games the Cavaliers lost to the Sacramento Kings 103-84 and the Suns lost to the Memphis Grizzlies 122-110 in 2 OT.
Will he play or won’t he? LeBron James has been out since the end of last month and he will be a game-time decision after going through a limited practice yesterday. The Cavs are looking to avoid dipping under .500, but with a lot of basketball to play I would be surprised if King James suited up tonight.
No shock that without LeBron the Cavs have struggled and they have lost 5 straight and are only 2-8 in their last 10 games.
In losing 8 of their last 9 games the Cavs have averaged under 90 ppg and are shooting less than 40% from the floor as a team. Yeah, they could use the best player on the planet back on the court.

The Suns are 6-4 in their last 10 games, but they have lost 2 straight. They would love to see James in street clothes, as he has beaten the Suns 11 straight times. In his last 2 games facing them he totaled 72 points on almost 64% shooting.
Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving totaled 46 points in the loss to Sacto and new addition Timofey Mozgov went for 14 points and 12 boards in his first start, but the Cavs fell behind early and could not catch up. Love and Irving have to carry the offense if King James cannot go and it would help if another new addition in J.R. Smith can ease the scoring load. However, he is shooting under 35% in 3 games with his new team and he did have one game scoring 27, but only totaling 4 in the other 2.
Phoenix had 4 of 5 starters scoring in double figures in the Memphis loss with Isaiah Thomas coming off the bench to score 20, but as a team they only shot 42% and committed 21 turnovers.
The Cavs only rank 18th in the league on defense and they need to key on the G duo of Goran Dragic and Eric Bledsoe, who are the 2 leading Phoenix scorers each averaging over 16 ppg.

This duo has to shoot the rock well, which they did not do in the loss to the Grizzlies combining to shoot 9-27.
