The Miami Heat continue their quest for a world title this Sunday night in Game 1 of their best-of-seven matchup against the Chicago Bulls in the Eastern Conference Finals. Tip-off from the United Center in Chicago is set for 8 p.m. (ET) and the game will be broadcast nationally on TNT.

Miami was expected to make short work of Philadelphia in round one of the postseason, but its five-game destruction of Boston in the conference semifinals is starting to make believers of even the staunchest South Beach haters. The Heat are now 6-4 against the spread in the playoffs with the total going ‘over’ in six of their 10 games.

The Big Three has lived up to expectations so far with a combined 69 points a game which is over 72 percent of the team’s scoring. Lebron James and Dwyane Wade are each averaging over 26 points a game and Chris Bosh is adding 16.3 points and a team-high 9.6 rebounds a game. Miami is averaging 94.7 points a game and has outrebounded the opposition 44-38.

Chicago advanced to the conference finals with a five-game series win over Indiana in the opening round and a six-game series win over Atlanta in the semifinals. The Bulls are 6-5 ATS and the total has stayed ‘under’ in six of the 11 games.

League MVP Derrick Rose has continued his stellar play into the postseason with an average of 28.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 8.2 assists a game. Luol Deng is the team’s second leading scorer with 16.7 points and Joakim Noah leads in rebounds with 10.4. The good news for Chicago has been the play of Carlos Boozer in the last few games. After being a non-factor in the first eight games, Boozer has averaged 17.3 points in the last three.

Head-to-head, the Bulls won all three games in the regular season straight-up and were 2-0-1 ATS. The total stayed ‘under’ in the last two games.

NBA Gambling Trends:
Under is 9-0 in MIA last 9 Conference Finals games.
MIA are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 road games.
Under is 10-3 in the last 13 meetings.
Home team is 5-2-1 ATS in the last 8 meetings.

Free Pick: Stick with Chicago to extend the winning streak to four with a victory on Sunday night as the Bulls use home court advantage to the fullest to grab the early edge in this series.
