The Memphis Grizzlies take on Denver in what could be one of Carmelo Anthony’s last games ever as a Nugget. The game tips at 9 p.m. and will be available on NBA League Pass.
Memphis comes into this game having won nine of its last 11 games including a 116-108 victory over Denver on Feb. 13 as a three-point home favorite. They followed this up with a 102-91 win over Philadelphia with the same closing line last Tuesday. The Grizzlies are now 31-26 straight-up overall (35-21-1 ATS) and tied for eighth-place in the Western Conference.
Zach Randolph and Rudy Gay are each averaging close to 20 points and combining for close to 20 rebounds a game to lead the way for Memphis. The Grizzlies are averaging 99.6 points a game while giving up an average of 98. They are shooting 46.3 percent from the field but just 33.6 percent from three-point range. 
Carmelo Anthony’s future with Denver remains up in the air as no final trade deal with either New Jersey or New York has been finalized, although one appears to be imminent. The Nuggets are currently 32-25 SU on the year (24-30-3 ATS) and in seventh-place in the West.
Any trade would change the entire complexion of this team, but for now Anthony remains the leading scorer with an average of 25.2 points a game and Chauncey Billips is second with 16.5. The Nuggets are ranked first in the league in scoring with an average of 107.6 points a game but 25th defensively; giving up an average of 105.2.
Even if Denver’s roster remains unchanged for this game, the entire situation with Anthony has become an even bigger distraction in light of the recent developments. Stick with the Grizzlies all the way if there is a posted line for this game.
