Denver Nuggets vs. Toronto Raptors Preview

On the season the Clippers are 20-30 ATS and they have an O/U record of 21-26-3 and the Raptors are 24-25-1 ATS and they have an O/U record of 28-22.

This season the Raptors are 18-9 at home and the Clippers are 13-10 on the road.

[dfads params=’groups=63742&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

In their last games the Raptors lost to the Brooklyn Nets 109-93 and the Clippers lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers 105-94.

Not only do the Clippers and Raptors have identical records, but each has also lost 2 straight and is 7-3 in their last 10 games. Earlier this season in La La Land the Raptors beat the Clippers and tonight L.A. looks to return the favor north of the border.

The Raptors can sweep the season series from the Clippers for the first time in 5 seasons with a win tonight.

[dfads params=’groups=63727&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

Kyle Lowry leads the Raptors in scoring and is one of the starting guards on the Eastern Conference All Star team, but he only has 15 points on 6/20 shooting in Toronto’s 2-game losing streak.

The Raptors have the league’s 5th highest scoring team and the Clippers have to play solid perimeter D tonight, as the top 3 scorers for Toronto are all guards.

Chris Paul and Blake Griffin are the 2 All Stars for the Clippers and they are one of the best G/FW duos in the league. Paul has not looked like an All Star in his last 4 games facing the Raptors averaging less than 10 ppg.

Griffin is averaging 22.5 ppg on the season and will be facing a Toronto defense that only ranked 23rd in the league in opponents points allowed the Nets to shoot nearly 50% from the floor in their last loss.

Lowry and 2nd leading scorer DeMar DeRozan each only had 13 points and each was 5/13 from the floor in the loss to Brooklyn. If these guys have a night that that tonight the Raptors will suffer their 3rd straight loss.

The Clippers rank 3rd in the league in points per game and 17th in opponents’ points allowed.

L.A. has lost 3 of their last 4 games and this game is the 3rd on their 5-game road trip.
