Chicago Bulls vs. L.A. Clippers Preview

On the season the Bulls are 4-6 ATS and they have an O/U record of 6-3-1 and the Clippers are 1-7 ATS and they have an Under record of 5-3.

This season the Clippers are 4-2 at home and the Bulls are 5-0 on the road.

In their last games the Clippers beat the Phoenix Suns 120-107 and the Bulls lost to the Indiana Pacers 99-90.

While the Bulls are coming off a loss they are 5-0 on the road this season, which is their best road start in 18 years. However, they face a tough Clippers’ team at home and after being of the better defending teams in the league for the last few seasons this season they rank 12th in opponents’ points allowed.

Razor Ray's Picks

The Clippers have won 4 straight against the Bulls and they have not been close with an average winning margin of 20.5 ppg.

Derrick Rose has played well in his career facing the Clippers, but has not played them since the 2011 season. He sat out the last game with a hamstring injury and he is questionable for tonight’s game.

Blake Griffin is averaging 26.3 ppg against the Bulls, which is his highest scoring average for any team in the league. He and Chris Paul lead the Clip Joint and the Bulls need to keep these 2 from having big scoring games.

The Clippers have the offense, but their defense has struggled this season ranking 21st in the league in opponents’ points allowed. However, in their last 2 games they have played solid D holding their opponents to a FG% of under 40%.

Pau Gasol has fit in nicely to the Bulls rotation and he is averaging 18.6 ppg and 10.6 rpg. He and Joakim Noah are averaging just over 20 rpg combined and Griffin and DeAndre Jordan have to body up on these guys and not let them dominate the glass.

The Bulls are a balanced team with 6 players averaging in double figures. Jimmy Butler leads the team in scoring and he is coming off a game where he scored a career high 32 points.

He and the other Chicago players will have to step up on offense if Rose cannot go tonight.

NBA Betting Trends

* Chicago is 5-11 ATS in their last 16 games overall.
* Chicago is 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record.
* L.A. is 5-17 ATS in their last 22 games overall.
* L.A. is 1-9 ATS in their last 10 home games.
* The favorite is 6-0 ATS in the last 6 games between these 2 teams.

4* Cappers NBA Free Pick

I think the Bulls will be careful with Rose and his injury and I would be surprised if he played. Because of that the Clippers will win and cover the spread on their floor.
