The Orlando Magic will be looking to extract some revenge for their Dec. 10 loss at Utah where they failed to cover the NBA point spread as 2.5-point road favorites despite getting a game-high 34 points from Vince Carter.
I like Orlando to get their revenge for that loss in this matchup, but I’m going to take the Jazz to cover the NBA point spread again, this time as 7.5-point road underdogs, a figure I think they’ll cover in a narrow loss.
The Jazz average almost the same amount of points per game as the Magic this season and are allowing just 2.4 points per game more than Orlando defensively. Utah has a solid roster full of competent veteran players and two legitimate all-star players in Deron Williams and Carlos Boozer.
I know the Magic have its own roster full of near all-star caliber players, but I say the Jazz keep the final score close enough to cash in for pro basketball betting backers.
