The Hornets, who found themselves stymied on the offensive end in the latter part of their Western Conference semi-final series against San Antonio last season, got off to a very good shooting start against the Golden State Warriors, as they hit 50% from the field in their opening 108-103 win/non-cover. Chris Nash has taken the torch from Steve Nash. Tyson Chandler, who concentrates on defense, can neutralize O’Neal. New Orleans can dictate pace. And they are mentally tough enough to win anywhere.
