NBA Betting parlay – Pistons vs. Celtics, Spurs vs. Suns

NBA Wednesday Parlay – Dec. 18

There is a full slate of 12 games on this Wednesday’s NBA schedule starting at 7 p.m. (ET) so the action will be fast and furious all night long.

As far as betting on the games, I have uncovered a pair of matchups that come together perfectly to form this week’s ‘NBA Wednesday Parlay’ play. [ad-4468020]

The following is a brief look at both games based on lines by [dfads params=’groups=63740&limit=1&return_javascript=0′].

Game 1- Detroit Pistons vs. Boston Celtics

Pointspread: Boston -1
Total Line: 195.5
ATS Matchup Stats | NFL Gambling Insight!

Detroit has just two straight-up victories in its last five games, but is coming off an impressive 101-96 win over Indiana this past Monday night as an 11-point road underdog. The Pistons have now gone 4-1 SU in their last five road games while covering against the spread in all four games. They are 6-6 SU away from home overall this season with a 7-5 record ATS.

The Celtics are starting to gain some traction in the watered-down Eastern Conference with five SU victories in their last seven games to improve to 12-14 SU on the year.

They are 7-6 SU and ATS at home this year and 15-11 ATS overall. Both teams come into this matchup in better form, but past betting trends in this series give the slight edge to Detroit.

The Pistons are 8-1 ATS in their last nine games against a team from the Atlantic Division and a perfect 6-0 ATS in their last six games against the Celtics.

The underdog in this matchup is 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings, so take the one point on Wednesday night in a game that Detroit goes on to win SU.

Game 2- San Antonio Spurs vs. Phoenix Suns

Pointspread: Phoenix -2
Total Line: 198
ATS Matchup Stats | NFL Gambling Insight!

San Antonio is coming off a tough 115-92 road loss to the Los Angeles Clippers as a three-point favorite this past Monday and, after a blazing start, it has cooled a bit with a 6-4 SU record in its last 10 games.

Tony Parker left Monday’s contest with a shin injury which could be an issue for Wednesday night. He is currently listed as questionable on the latest injury report.

The Suns have been one of the hottest teams in the NBA over the past two weeks with a 5-0 run both SU and ATS. They beat Golden State 106-102 this past Sunday as one-point home underdogs to improve to 8-3 SU at home with a 7-3-1 record ATS.

The Spurs are still one of the top two or three teams in the West this season, but this game presents a perfect opportunity to go against them especially with Parker a bit nicked-up.

The line of this game could fluctuate a couple of points either way depending on Parker’s actual playing status, but stick with the Suns to keep their winning streak alive with a sixth straight victory on Wednesday night.
